Aww....there's an old Merc 300E or something sitting around outside gathering dirt around me, it makes me sad. Also, my friend's girlfriend's dad has a Bertone (Fiat) X1-9 just sitting under a tarp. My friend and I have worked on it, but we don't have a key so we can't start it :(

Probably the previous owner was scared by it and wanted it to die. There must be a guy in Michigan called Tatsuya Shima dying to get this Porsche. He'll probably keep the same plate too.

That would almost have to be the case. "I'ma fixit someday and sell it at Barret-Jackson!"

My grandfather kept at least one rusted-out fastback Mustang and/or Beetle on his land at all times, swearing up and down that he, my uncles, and I would set about getting them in shape to drive then sell. It never happens with guys like that.

That's pretty sad. I drive by a Grand National on occasion near me that looks about like that. Paint is a little worse I think and the rear suspension is pretty low. It's on a very busy street or I would stop and grab a picture.
